To Sua Ocean Trench

The Ocean Trench is located on the south shore of Upola, Samoa. What a nice cool swim with the gentle surge of the ocean. Cory was very excited. Mya was happy to run in the garden. Way to tricky to get her down that ladder.

Lobster

A few lobsters from the giant fish market. Cory pulls out the little pot to cook his little lobster.

Bahai House of Worship

This is the Mother Temple of the South Pacific. We noticed that it's main principles looked an awful lot like the millennium goals posted outside the government building. Turns out the previous monarch was of the Bahai faith.

Beautiful Women

Somehow Cory always manages to sit himself for a chat with beautiful women everywhere we go.

Jump

We didn't slide, but we did get to jump! Weeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Papasaea Sliding Rocks

A fresh water swim, what a treat!

Mya Snorkels

"I go snorkeling in salt water but I don't see any star fish or sea cucumbers."

Mya's Aute

Mya stops to get a flower for her hair on our walk to breakfast. A Samoan woman at breakfast teaches her the name-aute.

Lunch

Breakfast and dinner were included at the fale but we tried lunch at the fancy resort next door. It is still being reconstructed after last year's tsunami. the second picture is the resort on the other side of the fale. It wasn't even touched by the tsunami! We were escorted out of there rather promptly while looking for ice cream. No kids allowed!

Shark!

Just a surfacing pool shark.

Rainbow

Fale

We are on the south coast of Upula.
A few days with mom at the beach and dad got to work on the boat and sleep through the night.
Who knew that mattresses on the floor could be so much fun. Nice to be playing in the sand before 7:30.
