Fiji Day

Musket Cove Island Resort had the school kids from all the villages come for the Fiji Day celebration. Here they re-enacted Fiji's independence from Britain by lowering the British flag and raising the Fiji flag.

Dancing Inside

We got moved inside for dancing and singing. It was a little warmer and drier there.

Tug of War

The rain subsided long enough for a round of tug-of-war. The organizer had the Fiji kids all lined up in 4 rows when he called "the rest of the world". The rest-of-the-world was comprised of resort vacationers and even more boat kids. We had a good laugh while watching. Boat kids do homeschool, they don't know much about lining up and sitting in rows. They eventually got there. Fiji and the-rest-of-the-world got mixed up into four houses. Perhaps a little more fair for the tug of war games?

Scuba Dive

Scott was down cleaning the hull. We thought Cory could try some scuba breathing too.

Paddling

The mini board was found in two pieces in the Marshall Islands. Steph was hoping it would be her debut in fibreglass to fix it. But alas no such time. Just happy Scott and Cory finally got it together.

Surfer Girl?

umm...no. Maybe work on being a yogi instead.

Riding

Cory is trying his best to look laid back and cool...kinda like today was not his first day being pulled around on his surf board.

Where's the Toilet?

The not so glamourous parts of cruising. Thanks Scott, you're a trooper.

Breakfast on the Dock, Denarau, Fiji

We wanted some extra water around for that toilet project. Cory and Mya have decided to take advantage and run free while they can. They started with breakfast together on the dock. No, mom and dad were not invited.
