Grandma Arrives!

Stay tuned for the next round of adventures!

Casteele's Teak Comes Off

In case anyone out there is considering putting teak (or any wood for that matter) on a steel boat, this picture alone should be enough to change your mind. NONE of this is being replaced with wood. Not one little stick.

Kittens!!

Everyone was out of the house the moment we heard Sophie was having her babies. It was a quick run down the driveway next door! Congratulations for your black beauties Sophie!

Teambuilding?

Cory and Mya practice their co-operation skills with yet another haircut. Mya's head this time...

Miyazu Japanese Garden, New Year's Day

Miyazu, Japan is Nelson's city sister and the garden commemorates the relationship between the cities using a Japanese style with Kiwi plants. It seemed like a nice serene place to welcome the new year and be thankful for ever so much...

Alex's Birthday

Alex turns 4 and we get to join the party.

Christmas Eve

Hope Santa can find us in New Zealand.

Christmas Day 2011, Nelson, NZ

Pomegranites

Friends for Christmas

We met our friends David and Janet from the good ship Navire in Tonga and Samoa. This year they joined us for Christmas. Friends for Christmas, could the presents get any better?

Christmas Last Year

Family Pic

The kids weren't much interested in a pic, but Janet managed to get one anyway. Scott and I needed something to do while we waited:)

David's Candle

David shared his special candle with us. This candle has been lit at Christmas for 50 years.

Friends and Neighbours

A little boxing day and post Christmas fun with friends.

Casteele Getting Naked

Everything up top needs to be taken off before sandblasting and painting.

Backyard Play

Cory and Mya needed some encouragement in that they could actually go play on land without us!
