Happy Bu Day Mommy

A birthday at sea! It was the first day of flat seas. Good for breakfast making, sudokus with Cory (he copied #40 onto my wrapping paper), reading while others baked brownies and a little cockpit dancing. Life is good.

Arriving New Caledonia

5 days and 655 NM and we are entering the pass. Look at those PINE trees!

Arriving Noumea, New Caledonia

After another 40 NM we are approaching the capital and port of entry in Noumea.

A Few Market Things

Hike Around

Once we got over the "bug" from our Plantation play, we finally got in an early morning hike around the island.

Musket Cove Donut

This is the spot to move boats into for hurricanes.

Mango Tree

There are giant mango trees with thousands of mangoes. No, still not ready. Casteele is still mostly a mango free zone.

Plantation Island Resort, Malololailai, Fiji

We walked over to the resort on the other side of the bay. They are set up for kids! We spent the morning in the kids pool with waterslides (no pics of that as S&S were busy in the pool too), had some lunch then moved over to the playground. The kid's club was having t-shirt painting and we were allowed to join that. Cory was a minimalist and headed for a ping pong table. Mya had full concentration on her work. She quite liked the "school" inside while we waited for the shirt to dry.
