Oh Those Steps

Those two steps between the galley and salon are like a giant Mya magnet...

View From Opua House

We have rented a house for a bit while we have some work done on the water tanks. Maybe we'll even finish unpacking...
Pics on that soon.
But in the meantime, do you like our view?

Bunkbed Modifications

Dinner Entertainment

Mya laughs her head off while Cory leaps down the stairs and runs through the salon to Mya's new dinner spot.
Can you tell we hadn't finished unpacking yet in these pics?:)

From Standing to Walking

Mya started holding onto things to stand up in May. By mid July she wasn't holding a thing and would dance on the spot. She will now do 12 steps on her own before opting to sit. Unlike Cory who cruised along the couch for awhile, let go one day and never looked back, Mya didn't do much cruising. She just takes one step at a time.

Misc

Last Day of Montessori

Maria Montessori believed all young children had absorbent minds. They are interested in taking in everything around them and are more "absorbent" for certain things during "sensitive periods". All the children in Cory's class were given awards recognizing one of their skills or characteristics. Cory's award was "The Most Absorbent". That's our little sponge.

ROE Scrapbook

Mya's ROE class gave her lovely gifts and made her a beautiful scrapbook. She quite likes to look at the pictures.
