Glow Worm Caves

We finally headed out to do a touristy thing and had some nice weather to cooperate on the weekend. We went to the glow worm caves. We couldn't take any pics inside but had some fun climbing outside too. My favorite part was hearing about the glow worm poo!!! Their bums glow to attract food! There must have been many hungry glow worms as the whole ceiling of the cave was shinning bright. Mya didn't like the caves much bc she wasn't aloud to walk on the bumpy rocks in the dark or launch herself into the river below. She did get a chance to follow me around outside and even partway up the lookout tower.

A bit of a challenge with a stroller, but the views are so inspiring Mom thought we should go anyway. The last pic is the view from the top. Mom said something about not leaving Northland until she could sprint up that last (insert strange word here) hill.
