Trekker Investigates

This picture pretty much sums up my relationship with the fur ball. I don't know what it is, but it makes loud noises when people come to the door, and that startles me. He is very furry, and doesn't seem to like me much. I am sure we can eventually be friends once I let him know who is boss.

Tree Frog

There was much debate in Mom's yoga class about the yoga pose I would chose for my arrival. Some said "Warrior 1" which is noble, powerful and not so easy. I chose tree frog. In this case, a tree frog with red socks. It's one of my favourite positions on either Mom or Dad's chest.

Asleep again

This picture is a bit blurry because the flash was turned off. Let sleeping dragons (that would be Dad), and newborn babies (in the year of the Dog) lie.

Bathtime!

Oh, I do like bath time. This is their second crack at it. The first time I made so much of a mess and there was so little coordination that no pictures could be taken. That was fun. Gramma was here helping Mom out while Dad was at work, so he missed the fun this time.

Mom in the rocker

Mom and I hanging out in the new rocker. I seem to spend a fair bit of time there now. Hmmm.

Dad in the rocker

Here I am with Dad, hanging out in the new rocking chair. It's a bent wood rocker that Nanny spent hours and hours fixing up. It's georgeous, and very comfy. I particularly like the motion, it puts me to sleep. Most of the time.

Nanny Visits

Nanny came for a visit too. She brought me a really nice rocking chair and a warm sleeping bag kind of thing for in my car seat. It has sailboats on it, which Mom and Dad were very pleased to see. I wonder why?

Then it got crazy!

Grampa Roy and Gramma Suzanne came by for a quick visit. From Alberta. They seemed pretty excited to see me. Seems all I have to do is exist and people are happy. Cool. I can get used to this rock star like adulation.

Nanny's Basinet

Got home, had a bit of a feed, and then it was nap time. What better place to nap than in Nanny's custom made basinet. Warm, stylish, comfy.

Ready to head home

Here we are all sorted out and ready to go home. This is Saturday morning, one full day earlier than either Mom and Dad or the nurses thought. The morning was a bit of a scramble for everyone, including the hospital staff, but we all pulled it off. I did my bit by sleeping happily in my fancy car seat.

Keep What?

Hello again everyone. Yes, I know it has been a while since the first pics were put up, but it has been a very eventful, and very sleep depriving life for everyone in the past few days.

At any rate, here I am at the hospital, dispaying my complete lack of ability to read. Aunt Laurie calls this the sausage picture, I guess i must look like one. What is a sausage anyway?
