Princess

Mya quite likes the bed "like Curious George" and the pint sized duvet.

Home for the Moment

Next to pools, parks, trail head and the school. With great neighbours and a cycle to town and the marina. Life is good.

Xmas Tree Venture

Cory stops to look at the peach trees along the way. Almost ready...Then we pass the Douglas firs. Christmas tree shopping in shorts and shades is fun!

Spring Needles

Cutting

We found the one we like. This one is 3 years old. Time to share the saw. Thank you beautiful tree.

Hauling a Tree

Birds

Birds everywhere!

Hay

We stopped to watch some hay making and meet the farmers on the way home.

Tree Decorating

Yeah! Time to decorate. First you get naked. Then the mad scientist comes out and you decide to see what happens if you were to put blue dye in the water. Will we get a blue tree? Then you take a break to read the Christmas books and try on some socks. OH look, tree done. time to vaccuum.

Kite Day at Rabbit Island

The Junior Syndicate made kites and today was the day to fly them. Cory very graciously shared with his little sister who joined the trip with mom.

Cory Story

Cory is pretty happy with his storyboard creation. Inspired by Post-It notes, each one gets a sentence.

High River

The river by the marina gets higher as flood warnings continued.

Muddy Mess-Fairfield House

Historic Fairfield House is just down the street. If we'd come for a visit last week we would have seen green lawns surrounded by gorgeous gardens. This is the mud left from the landslides caused by a greater rainfall than anything else in the past 50 years.
