ROE

Once a month Mya and I head into the grade 5 class down the street for the Roots of Empathy program. Mya is the star for 30 minutes while the kids cheer on her latest accomplishments. Mya likes the attention and the new toys and the kids like learning about Mya. They also get to learn about their feelings and how other people may feel. As we are out and about for the rest of the month we frequently hear "hi Mya" and the kids always stop to see "their baby".
